Visiting the Studio Checklist.

Dear All,

In order to ensure that we all feel safe and comfortable practicing at the studio, please read our visiting policy in the Checklist below.

Precautions

Your safety and that of our staff is our top priority. In line with government guidance, we have put in place measures to ensure that the studio is a safe place for you to practice

Keeping a safe distance:

We have increased the number of classes on the timetable and decrease the number of physical spaces available in the Classes to help members keep a safe distance from each other. Please be understanding if you cannot access the class you hope for. Your still be able to access an alternate time slot.

The studio mat space has been rearranged and marked out for us to use safely, so it is easy for everyone to follow.

Extensive and frequent cleaning:

Our studio will be deep cleaned every night with high-grade anti-viral disinfectant. In addition to that all surfaces will also be cleaned throughout the day, so that we can all practice with confidence.

We have installed an automatic hand sanitizer dispenser in the front porch of the building, so it is easy to clean your hands during your visit. Additionally, we provided a steritouch disposable wipes and ask you to sanitize your equipment after the class to keep yourself and others safe.

Staff training:

All staff are fully trained on our new cleaning and safety measures to ensure these are delivered to the highest standard.

BEFORE COMING TO THE STUDIO AND AFTER LEAVING THE STUDIO CHECKLIST

We ask that members book the classes online. We regret you are not be able to visit the studio without pre-booking, the booking system is now set up to 2 weeks before class date. This is because of the reduced number of spaces per class, so everyone has opportunity to access the classes.

Latecomers, sadly, cannot be permitted entry into a class.

Please try to arrive 10 minutes before class to allow time to settle into your spot. In line with our new health and safety protocols, members must be set up on their mats 3 minutes before the class is scheduled to commence.

When you arrive, please stop off at the sanitizing station at the entrance before you come in. Hand wipes are available in the reception area if preferred.

Please be prompt as we will not allow anyone into the studio after the mandatory 3 minutes rule.

Do sign in with a staff member at the reception. The sitting area is not available in accordance with government safety guidelines. Please directly go to the class studio to take your place. We are allowing 30 minutes between classes so you will not have to wait before entering the studio.

It is advisable to wear masks in the common area.

We encourage our members to change before arriving and after leaving the studio where possible, to reduce using the changing facilities.

Studio mats are still available, however whenever possible, please bring your own mat, blocks and belt if needed.

If studio equipment is used, we have provided a steritouch wipepod with disposable wipes and ask you to sanitize the equipment after the class for safest studio environment.

Please understand due to the additional volume there will be £1 hire charge for use of a studio towel in a class and so we encourage you to bring your own.

Shoes are not allowed to be left at the studio entrance. Please remove before entering the studio use shoe bags to put your shoes into the individual shelf compartments provided.

We have removed the water dispenser however, you can purchase bottle water from the reception area.

As always if you have any questions and would like to speak with one of our team members then don’t hesitate to email us: admin@theheartofyoga.co.uk.
